Gastric band adjustment
Adjustments help you accelerate or slow down weight
loss
and are carried out following a strict protocol to keep you
and your band safe.

Weight Loss Clinic includes unlimited gastric band adjustments
for the first 12 months following surgery. Or for those patients
that have had surgery elsewhere we offer an aftercare only
package which includes an initial consultation with consultant
surgeon David Hewin.
Gastric band adjustment – also called a fill or tightening the
band – is how the band helps to restricts stomach size.
Your gastric band adjustments are carried out by consultant
surgeon David Hewin following a strict protocol to protect you
and keep you (and your band) safe.
The first adjustment takes place around 8 weeks after your
weight loss surgery. We would expect further adjustments to be
made during your monthly consultations.
